Offshore wind energy in Japan

Nowadays, many foreign companies are starting to invest in the field of offshore wind energy in Japan. Since Japan is an island country surrounded by the ocean, it is regarded as one of the best places to develop that field. But foreign invests were rare because constructing new equipment costs high, legal systems haven't sufficiently developed. After Japanese government decided to place renewable energy as one of the main power sources in their plan, many foreign companies, which have a lot of experience and basic foundation, became to seek ways starting new businesses in Japan.
